Katherine Wallach
Actress, artist, and farmer Katherine Wallach has been creating jewelry since childhood, inspired by early memories of exploring a family bead company on 38th Street—a true treasure trove of materials from around the world. Her official design career began unexpectedly at a Barneys appointment, where a buyer spotted one of her handmade pieces and requested to see her line. She created it that weekend and has been designing ever since.
Now based between New York, Tuscany, and rural Pennsylvania, Katherine continues to collect rare, antique, and whimsical materials—from hand-cut coral to 1960s Barbie shoes—to create jewelry that is raw, elegant, fanciful, talismanic, and always one-of-a-kind. Her pieces “design her,” guided by history and the stories objects carry. Her greatest honor is when people who rarely wear jewelry feel drawn to her work as if it were made just for them.
Her collection is carried by Paul Smith, JW Cooper, Spruce Design Decor, Lazy Point Variety, Bomba, Oro Incenso Mirra, Wait and See, and The Stronghold.
